About
Our vision is that of a world free from sexual exploitation, where there is equality between women and men. We envision a world where women and children can claim their dignity and integrity, exercise their rights as human beings, and work with others towards their empowerment.
Our mission is to campaign and build international, regional and national partnerships to improve policies and programs of states, transform public consciousness, and empower women and communities towards the eradication of sexual exploitation and all forms of violence against women (VAW), and towards a deep change in their quality of life.
Our goals include the following:
- Continue our work in supporting the empowerment of abused women and children, and in advocating for alternatives. Advocate for fundamental social changes done alongside calls for immediate solutions, such as comprehensive services for survivors.
- Conduct research and education to deepen consensus and understanding on the root causes and impacts of trafficking and all forms of sexual exploitation.
- Campaign for structural, intermediate and practical changes that will address the causes and effects of trafficking, irregular migration and sexual exploitation — gender, racial, economic and political inequalities. Strengthen the advocacy for redefinition of sexuality.
- Build solidarity across social movements to challenge all forms of sexual exploitation and intersecting inequalities.
- Conduct trainings with national and local governments and civil society groups in the course of policy advocacy.
